Appointments & Bookings
We require a 50% deposit on all treatments, if cancelled less than 2 days before your treatment the deposit will be lost.
How long does my hair need to be for it to be the right length for waxing?
Your hair should be the same length as a grain of rice to ensure the hair is completely pulled from the root.
Is body waxing sanitary?
At Glossed we can assure you everything we do is sanitary and hygienic. There is never any double dipping into the wax pot therefore there is no risk of cross-contamination.
Can I get waxed if I have sunburn?
No, you cannot get waxed if you are sunburnt, this is because the skin is very tender and fragile in this state and waxing would cause harm to the skin.
How long should I wait to book my next appointment?
We recommend waiting 6 weeks before your next wax, this is to ensure that your hair is of the correct length to be pulled, giving you the best possible results.
